Proven Performance through Natural and Organic Ingredients
AGGRAND Fertilizer Organic Series 4-3-3 (OSF) is a multipurpose liquid concentrate that promotes vigorous growth, increased root development and improved stress and disease tolerance in vegetables, fruits, nut trees and field crops. It is Listed by the Organic Materials Review Institute (OMRI) for use in organic production. AGGRAND Fertilizer stimulates microbial activity in the soil and provides essential macronutrients nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P) and potassium (K) in a ratio of 4-3-3.
AGGRAND Fertilizer Organic Series 4-3-3 is intended as the alternative to AGGRAND Natural Fertilizer 4-3-3 (NOF) for growers who must use fertilizers certified to NOP standards.

AGGRAND Natural Fertilizer 4-3-3 (NOF) is a multipurpose liquid concentrate formulated to promote vigorous growth, increased root development and improved stress and disease tolerance on flowers, vegetables, fruits, lawns, shrubs, trees, field crops and houseplants. In addition to stimulating microbial activity in the soil, it provides nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P) and potassium (K) in a ratio of 4-3-3. AGGRAND Natural Fertilizer is the ideal product for those seeking a natural fertilizer that demonstrates superior results.

AGGRAND Natural Kelp and Sulfate of Potash 0-0-8 (NKP) is a liquid concentrated formula containing 8 percent readily available potash (K2O) recommended for use on all types of crops and plants. Its potential benefits include dark green leaves, higher nutritional quality, firm stalks, prolific root growth, greater plant vigor, improved nutrient uptake, fewer blemishes, reduced susceptibility to insects and disease and increased shelf-life. AGGRAND Natural Kelp and Sulfate of Potash is the ideal product for those seeking a natural fertilizer that demonstrates superior results.

AGGRAND Natural Liquid Lime (NLL) is an easy and effective alternative to bagged lime for use on permanent ground covers such as turf, pastures and hay fields. It features finely ground limestone in a liquid suspension that can be absorbed by leaves and roots. AGGRAND Natural Liquid Lime can be used with AGGRAND Natural Fertilizer to supply additional calcium to crops such as tomatoes, potatoes, cabbage and lettuce that need copious amounts of this vital nutrient. AGGRAND Natural Liquid Lime is the ideal product for those seeking a natural soil amendment that demonstrates superior results.

AGGRAND Natural Liquid Bonemeal 0-12-0 (NBM) is a concentrated liquid formula containing readily available phosphorus (P) recommended for application during transplanting of vegetable and flower starts, and planting of bulbs and seeds. It promotes root development for faster-growing, healthier plants. With AGGRAND Natural Liquid Bonemeal, carrots and potatoes increase in size and root/tuber quality, while bulbs produce more and bigger flowers and can be split more frequently. AGGRAND Natural Liquid Bonemeal is the ideal product for those seeking a natural fertilizer that demonstrates superior results.

AGGRAND Natural Wildlife Food Plot Formula helps boost nutrient levels, including protein providing the primary, secondary and micro-nutrients plants need to flourish. Improved habitat and easy access to succulent, nutrient-rich food will help attract more wild game and help grow larger, healthier animals. Just like humans, animals are healthier and feel better when they eat nutrient-rich foods. When wild animals are offered a food source that provides greater protein levels, they will favor that food source over others. That’s what makes food plots so powerful. Proper seed selection coupled with effective soil preparation greatly increases protein levels over natural forage.

AGGRAND Natural Fertilizer (NOF) has gained certification into the USDA BioPreferredSM Program.

Under the USDA program, products are considered biobased if they are composed wholly or significantly of biological ingredients — renewable plant, animal, marine or forestry materials.

Products certified in the program carry a label icon that helps consumers make informed choices. The icon is easy to recognize and consumers can have confidence in the label because claims about the presence and amount of biobased ingredients are third-party certified and strictly monitored by the USDA.

The “USDA certified biobased product” icon will soon appear on AGGRAND Natural Fertilizer marketing material. AGGRAND Natural Fertilizer also will be listed among products that meet the USDA requirements on the agency’s website, www.biopreferred.gov.

USDA BioPreferred Program Goals
The core goals of the USDA BioPreferred Program first were introduced in the 2002 Farm Bill:

  • To spur the development of the biobased industrial base through value-added agricultural processing and manufacturing in rural communities.
  • To enhance the nation’s energy security, by substituting biobased products for fossil energy-based products derived from imported oil and natural gas
  • To reduce the nation’s environmental impact by promoting products that may be more benign to the environment.

Another nothch on the handle of socialism

I do not need to join some group to protest the socialist movement that has gained unprecedented momentum in our country. The vote in the House of Representatives last night is evidence to the lies willing to be told to advance a cause that is contrary to the US Constitution.

The socialist movement is being fast-tracked by the President, Speaker of the House, Senate majority leader, and all the other backroom dealers.

You can count on me to vote my beliefs in the next election, just as I have done for the past 30 years.

I will educate everyone that can be educated on the failures of socialism and communism. Just look at history and we can see the failed nations that have tried the experiment. The sad part is that we don't have to look to far back to see the failure of the USSR. Those that believe that socialism/communism is a better because the "nanny" government will make sure everything is fair for everyone are believing a lie.

Believe in people. Believe that people can achieve. I do. Too bad there are so many sheep out there looking for someone else to do it for them.

On a related topic, start preparing now for your spring garden. The time is now to develop your gardening skills. The amount of taxes we will be paying won't leave us much to take care of our families; therefore it is important to learn the self-sufficiency skills to take care of ourselves. Learn to grow and store your own food. Develop a plan for long term food storage. Learn to maintain your vehicles. Learn to shoot. Learn to defend yourself and your family. These are just some of the things that we need to be able to do.

If you are planning a garden, consider fertilizing with AGGRAND NATURAL ORGANIC FERTILZER. This is a product I not only sell, but use myself. I have been using it for about 4 years with great results. You can also go to my website http://www.allnaturalfertilizer.com/ to learn more about the fertilizers.

When you are ready to increase the life of all your vehicles and engines consider using Amsoil Synthetic Lubricanst and filters. Go to Amsoil online store to see more. My personal Amsoil website is http://syntheticoilpage.com/ where you can find a lot of information. If you call me at 402-499-4301 or 877-760-9048, tell me you read my blog and I will give you the best possible price on both Amsoil and Aggrand.

Watchdog: Bank Bailouts Created More Risk in System

It appears again that the government program to "fix" everything probably just delayed things or could actually make it worse. Imagine that....

FOXNews.com - January 31, 2010

The problems that led to the last financial crisis have not yet been addressed, and in some cases have grown worse, says Neil Barofsky, the special inspector general for the trouble asset relief program, or TARP. The quarterly report to Congress was released Sunday.

The government's bailout of financial institutions deemed "too big to fail" has created a risk that the United States could face a worse fiscal meltdown in the future, an independent watchdog assigned to review the program told Congress on Sunday.

The Troubled Assets Relief Program, known as TARP, has not addressed the problems that led to the last crisis and in some case those problems have festered and are a bigger threat than before, warned Neil Barofsky, the special inspector general at the Treasury Department.

"Even if TARP saved our financial system from driving off a cliff back in 2008, absent meaningful reform, we are still driving on the same winding mountain road, but this time in a faster car," Barofsky wrote.

Barofsky wrote the $700 billion financial bailout has encouraged more risk-taking because bank executives, who are still receiving massive bonuses, figure the government will come to the rescue the next time they steer their ships nearly aground.

"The market mentality now seems fixed that the U.S. government will continue to step in and bail out giant financial institutions," said Sen. Susan Collins, R-Maine, ranking member of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee. "The IG's findings confirm my decision to oppose releasing $350 billion in TARP funds last year and my recent vote to terminate the program altogether."

"The SIGTARP's report is just another reminder of how Congress and the administration have ignored the role that politics and government played in causing the housing crisis and the economic collapse while pursing other regulatory reforms will not fix the underlying problem," said Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif., the ranking member on the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee.

But House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's spokesman Nadeam Elshami said politics is the reason the government stepped in to save the banks in the first place.

"The American people paid a heavy price because of the reckless economic policies of the Bush administration where the interests of Wall Street were placed ahead of the interests of Main Street. The House passed Wall Street reform legislation to protect taxpayers and consumers and ensure transparency and accountability without a single Republican vote. We hope that House Republicans would drop their unanimous opposition and work for reform instead of against it," Elshami said.

The inspector general's report details stonewalling by the Treasury Department over a recommendation that walls be built between managers of the public-private investment program, which uses taxpayer cash to buy bad assets, and employees of the fund management companies which sell the toxic assets.

Barofsky's report outlined 77 cases of possible criminal and civil fraud, including crimes of tax evasion, insider trading, mortgage lending and payment collection, false statements and public corruption.

One case concerns apparent self-dealing by one of the private fund managers Treasury picked to buy bad assets from banks at discounted prices. A portfolio manager at the firm apparently sold a bond out of a private fund, then repurchased it at a higher price for a government-backed fund.

A rating agency had just downgraded the bond, so it likely was worth less, not more, when the government fund bought it. The company is not being named pending the outcome of Barofsky's investigation.

Treasury said it welcomed Barofsky's oversight but resisted the call to erect new barriers against conflicts of interest. The new rules "would be detrimental to the program," Treasury spokeswoman Meg Reilly said in a statement. The existing compliance rules "are a rigorous and effective method of protecting taxpayers," she said.

"As the report says, 'for various reasons, Treasury has decided that requiring such walls 'is simply not practical in the context of PPIP,' and has refused to adopt this recommendation. It is disappointing but not unsurprising that the Treasury Department under the leadership of Secretary (Tim) Geithner is once again stonewalling transparency," Issa said.

"Frankly, just because it may be inconvenient is not a good enough excuse to justify leaving taxpayer dollars vulnerable to manipulation and fraud," he continued.

Much of Barofsky's report focused on the government's growing role in the housing market, which he said has increased the risk of another housing bubble.

Over the past year, the federal government has spent hundreds of billions propping up the housing market. About 90 percent of home loans are backed by government controlled entities, mainly Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and the Federal Housing Administration.

The Federal Reserve is spending $1.25 trillion to hold down mortgage rates, and millions of homeowners have refinanced at lower rates.

"The government has stepped in where the private players have gone away," Barofsky said in an interview. "If we take government resources and replace that market without addressing the serious (underlying) concerns, there really is a risk of" artificially pushing up home prices in the coming years.

The report warned that these supports mean the government "has done more than simply support the mortgage market, in many ways it has become the mortgage market, with the taxpayer shouldering the risk that had once been borne by the private investor."

Barofsky's report echoed concerns raised by housing experts in recent months, as home sales and prices rebounded. They warn that the primary reason for the turnaround last year has been billions of dollars in federal spending to lower mortgage rates and prop up demand.

Once that spigot of cash is turned off, they caution, the market will be vulnerable to a dramatic turn for the worse. Daniel Alpert, managing partner of investment bank Westwood Capital, wrote in a report that national home prices are bound to fall 8 to 10 percent below the lows of last spring.

"The lion's share of the remaining decline will occur in markets that saw sizable bubbles but have not yet retrenched," he wrote.

Officials from the Obama administration counter that massive federal intervention has helped the housing market stabilize and prevented more dire consequences.

Barofsky's report also disclosed that, while the Obama administration has pledged to spend $75 billion to prevent foreclosures, only a tiny fraction -- just over $15 million -- has been spent so far. Under the Making Home Affordable program, only about 66,500 borrowers, or 7 percent of those who signed up, had completed the process as of December.

He said the key to preventing future crises is to reform Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, create and improve loan underwriting and supervision of banks. He stopped short of endorsing specific proposals for overhauling financial regulation, but said many of the proposals would go far to improving the system.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.

Aggrand Fertilizers give excellent results at an even better price!

Organic Fertilizers Help Maintain Natural Balance Traditional fertilization practices have certainly caused surface and groundwater pollution, but banning the application of certain nutrients is not the answer. The application of both nitrogen and phosphorus can be problematic. Chemical fertilizers that are highly concentrated cause water pollution even when they are applied at the recommended rates when followed too soon by a heavy rain or too much irrigation. The answer to this dilemma is to start using more sustainable practices and natural products, such as AGGRAND fertilizers. The recycling of nutrients through the return of grass clippings (using a mulching mower) stimulates soil biological activity and supplies at least two pounds of nitrogen per 1,000 square feet per year without causing any pollution. The application of low levels of AGGRAND fertilizers that contain fish, kelp humates, plus adding corn gluten meal, stimulates the proliferation of microbes and earthworms, which readily fix these forms nutrients before they ever get into lakes, rivers or streams. As the creatures in the soil multiply, they excrete nutrients and die are eaten and digested and excreted by other organisms, which releases nutrients slowly as plants need them. An actual comparison of two types of fertilizer, AGGRAND 4-3-3 and one that is chemical, illustrates the difference. One homeowner applies 30-5-10 fertilizer to his or lawn at 20 pounds per 5,000 square feet a neighbor applies one quart of AGGRAND 4-3-3 (2.3 pounds) of fish-kelp humate fertilizer per 5,000 square feet. The natural fertilizer puts .0184 pound and .013 pound of phosphate per 1,000 square feet the soil. The naturally fertilized lawn is more drought and pest resistant and uses water so it needs less frequent irrigation. AGGRAND fertilizer stimulates biological activity, which creates stable soil aggregates enabling the roots to go deeper and become better developed, keeping nutrients in the root zone. The chemical fertilizer puts 1.2 pounds. of nitrogen and .2 pound of phosphate per 1,000 square feet into the soil (65 times more nitrogen and 15 times more phosphate than the natural fertilizer). The chemically fertilized lawn and/or pasture is water hungry and needs constant irrigation because the grass relies on the chemical to supply the nutrients. The chemical toxifies the soil, inhibiting biological activity, which results in compacted soil and an unhealthy root environment. Most of the nutrients are free to fl ow over the compacted surface into the surface water or past the restricted root zone into the ground water. Research shows that up to 96 percent of high analysis chemical fertilizers are not taken up by plants. Fertilization is not inherently bad, but the type and amount of fertilization is the key to producing healthy lawns and pastures and eliminating water pollution. Remember, nitrogen and phosphate are present in all ecosystems, but nature knows how to hold them and make them readily available when they are needed.

Nebraska Football

Ok, I know you are asking what does football have to do with Amsoil? On the surface it has nothing to do with football. But running a business is much like football, or any other sport for that matter. Watching the Nebraska Cornhuskers play and ultimately defeat the Clemson Tigers reminded me of the similarities between sports and business. If you are running a business (as I am), while also working another job (as I am), raising a children (as I am), and married (as I am), it takes balance and commitment. All of these things by themselves are time consuming and require commitment if you are to be successful. College football also requires the types of commitment for the student athletes. It takes hard work and patience to win football games. When I think about the time these student athletes spend just preparing for football, I wonder how they ever have time for the student part of the equation. I know that the University of Nebraska has an excellent program to assist students athletes by providing tutors, and study help. I know that some of these student athletes do not take full advantage of these learning assistance programs, but the ones that do will recieve a top notch education and have a foundation for success. Running an Amsoil/Aggrand business is much the same. Business requires long hours of commitment to build success. Amsoil provides excellent dealer support through training and technical assistance. Sponsor dealers provide training and support for down-line dealers to help them build success and motivation. We as business owners know that perseverance is important to weather the difficult times that come with any business. Perseverance will be rewarded when the hard work is put into your business. Every business owner I know talks about the lean times, and how they are better business owners because they learned the most in those times.

New opportunities for the new year.

Hello, As I have reviewed the developments of new products and facilities at Amsoil, I am amazed. Amsoil moved into the new production facility in Superior, WI. They introduced several new products and partnered with Injen for a new line of outstanding intake systems. I was able to tour the new production facility in June during the 35th Anniversary Convention. The technology used in this facility to increase production and efficiency is a testament to the continued "Commitment to Excellence" that Amsoil has prescribed to since its' beginning. Amsoil introduced new racing oils. These are oils that are used on the track, and all of them are available for anyone that wants to use them. One of my dealers used them in his race car this year and had great results. New diesel additives were added to help with keeping diesel flowing during cold weather. In fact the recently added "Diesel Recovery" will make your gelled diesel flow again. Aggrand production has increased also. Amsoil converted the old oil production facility entirely to making and packaging Aggrand Liquid Natural and Organic fertilizers. Two of the products, 4-3-3 Liquid Fertilizer, and the 0-0-8 Liquid Kelp and Sulfate of Potash were approved for use in organic food production and meeting the USDA National Organic Program. Dealers are continuing to see growth in their personal businesses. It seems that as the economy gets tight, more consumers are seeing the value in using a product that extends drain intervals, and provides reduced wear. I have several customers reporting increased fuel mileage and more power once they switched to Amsoil. One of my customers, a North Carolina lawn care company, reported that he could not believe the difference he noticed after just changing the oil. Arron Clark, a dealer in Sedalia, CO, told me how his vehicles and equipment started in sub-zero temperatures when others were shut down. If you need information, or would like to discuss using Amsoil in your vehicles and equipment, please feel free to contact me at 1-877-760-9048 or info@huskersynthetics.com. You can also view my website, http://www.huskersynthetics.com/.

Hello, With the coming of a new year, we should all be prepared for a new start. Are you looking for a way to enhance your income by having a business that you can fit into your daily like? The Amsoil business opportunity is flexible. The sign-up fees are as low as $35 per year, with no inventory requirements. I started my business to sell to my friends and co-workers. I have grown this business since mid 2005. Since that time, I have learned to build a website (www.huskersynthetics.com), set-up booths at trade shows, and signed up several accounts and new dealers. I have several dealers in my group that are also growing their own businesses. My wife and I would love to help you grow a business. You do not need to be an automotive expert, you just need to be able to recognize a value. Another part of the Amsoil opportunity is Aggrand Natural and Organic Fertilizers. These are outstanding fertilizers that making a tremendous impact in the agricultural and home industries. Our fertilizers are very high quality liquid fertilizers that work well and help build healthy soil and plants. I look forward to helping you build a business that you can be proud of for many years.
