AMSOIL Diesel Injector Clean (ADF) and AMSOIL Diesel Injector Clean + Cold Flow (DFC) feature new formulations designed to clean both traditional injector deposits and the tough-to-remove deposits surfacing in modern high-pressure common-rail diesel engines. AMSOIL Diesel Cetane Boost (ACB) and AMSOIL Diesel Cold Flow (ACF) formulations remain unchanged. All four products feature bold new packaging.

Diesel Injector Clean I use this product in my diesel pick-up during the warmer months.
A performance concentrate that delivers maximum results
Removes performance-robbing deposits from diesel fuel injectors to restore horsepower and improve fuel economy. It is formulated for all types of diesel engines, including high-pressure common-rail designs. AMSOIL Diesel Injector Clean makes no sacrifices; it is purpose-built for diesel owners who demand maximum results.
AMSOIL Diesel Injector Clean (ADF) removes performance-robbing deposits from diesel fuel injectors to restore horsepower and improve fuel economy. It is formulated for all types of diesel engines, including high-pressure common-rail designs. Diesel Injector Clean is formulated to clean both the tough-to-remove internal diesel injector deposits surfacing in modern high-pressure common-rail diesel engines and traditional carbonaceous deposits. Unlike all-in-one fuel additives that may sacrifice performance in specific areas in the name of convenience, AMSOIL Diesel Injector Clean makes no sacrifices; it is purpose-built for diesel owners who demand maximum results.

Diesel Injector Clean + Cold Flow I personally use this product during the winter months. I have never had a gelling problem when others that are parked next to me during the winter have completely gelled their fuel systems.
A performance concentrate that delivers maximum results
Combines the superior detergency of AMSOIL Diesel Concentrate (ADF) and the excellent anti-gelling properties of AMSOIL Cold Flow Improver (ACF) in one convenient package, without sacrificing performance. Keeps injectors, rings and piston crowns lubricated and free of soot.
Helps Prevent Gelling As the temperature drops, the wax naturally found in diesel fuel begins to crystallize. The point at which wax crystals form is known as the cloud point. These wax crystals eventually clog the fuel filter and starve the engine of fuel, preventing it from starting. While low-quality fuels may form wax crystals in temperatures as warm as 40ºF (4ºC), most fuels have a cloud point near 32ºF (0ºC). The point at which the crystals clog the fuel filter is known as the cold filter-plugging point (CFPP). AMSOIL Diesel Injector Clean + Cold Flow lowers the CFPP by up to 20ºF (15ºC) in ULSD.

Diesel Cetane Boost I use this product whenever I am towing my horse trailer. I notice more power when using Cetane boost.
A performance concentrate that delivers maximum results
Raises the cetane number of diesel fuel up to seven points for maximum horsepower, increased fuel economy and easier starts in all diesel engines. AMSOIL Diesel Cetane Boost makes no sacrifices; it is purpose-built for diesel owners who demand maximum results.
AMSOIL Diesel Cetane Boost (ACB) raises the cetane number of diesel fuel up to seven points for maximum horsepower, increased fuel economy and easier starts in all diesel engines. Diesel engines operate best on fuel with cetane values of 50 or higher. Most diesel fuel sold in North America has a cetane value of 40-45. Unlike all-in-one fuel additives that may sacrifice performance in specific areas in the name of convenience, AMSOIL Diesel Cetane Boost makes no sacrifices; it is purpose-built for diesel owners who demand maximum results.

AMSOIL Products Save Money!

The uninformed have always assumed that AMSOIL synthetic lubricants were more expensive than conventional products. It is true that the initial cost is higher than most petroleum-based products, but an investment in AMSOIL synthetic lubricants is an investment in your business.

AMSOIL can help save businesses money by improving fuel economy, reducing maintenance costs and downtime, and extending drain intervals.

Reduced Maintenance

Because AMSOIL lubricants are engineered for superior wear protection, equipment maintenance is often needed less often. The excellent protection, cleaning and cooling properties of AMSOIL keep moving parts working properly, helping reduce equipment malfunctions and failures.

Extended Drain Intervals

Extended drain intervals are key to improving bottom lines. Changing fluids less often means buying them less often. It also means equipment is in the shop less often, reducing maintenance needs and downtime and improving efficiency.

Less Downtime

Less maintenance through extended drains mean less downtime, and less downtime means equipment is working more often and getting more done. It also means less time spent working on equipment when there are other things to be done.

Long-Lasting Equipment

AMSOIL products help improve equipment’s durability because they provide superior protection. Less wear, stress and strain on moving parts allows equipment to last longer, reducing replacement costs.

Better Fuel Economy

Fuel economy is becoming more important with each passing year. Gas and diesel prices keep rising, putting a major strain on businesses that rely on vehicles and heavy equipment in their daily operations. AMSOIL synthetic lubricants improve fuel economy by allowing moving parts to move more freely, using less energy and creating less friction than when conventional lubricants are used. The use of AMSOIL synthetic motor oil, gear lubes and transmission fluids can have a profound impact on fuel economy. The AMSOIL Over-the-Road Trucking Package, for example, has been proven in industry testing to increase fuel economy 6.54 percent in diesel trucking applications (see inside flap). The savings for a fleet of 100 OTR trucks each averaging 120,000 miles per year are significant: Averaging 6.39 mpg (6 mpg + 6.54 percent) saves the fleet $499,389 each year on fuel.*

Waste Oil Disposal

Extended drain intervals also prevent the disposal of additional waste oil. Disposing of used oil can be costly and barrels of used oil take up a great deal of space in the shop. A fleet of 100 trucks using conventional oil and conventional oil change intervals produces 9,600 gallons of waste oil every year.** By switching to AMSOIL and extending oil change intervals to three times OEM recommendations, that same fleet would produce only 3,200 gallons of waste oil per year. Less waste oil means lower disposal costs, more shop space and a cleaner environment.

Money Saved

The most important aspect of these benefits is that they save businesses money. Better fuel economy, reduced maintenance, longer-lasting equipment, less money spent on oil and less waste oil all can provide significant savings.

AMSOIL synthetic lubricants are formulated to:

-Increase Convenience

-Improve Mileage

-Reduce Maintenance

-Reduce Downtime

- Extend Drain Intervals

-Save Money

The Next Bite Host Impressed With Improved Fuel Economy

The Next Bite host Gary Parsons experienced immediate fuel economy benefits after switching his Ford F250 to AMSOIL products.
National Fresh Water Fishing Hall-of-Famer Gary Parsons, one of the hosts of the popular AMSOIL-sponsored fishing program The Next Bite on the Versus Network, could not hide his excitement about gaining improved fuel economy with AMSOIL products, writing the following:
"I thought I’d drop you a note since I’m pretty excited. I switched all three of my trucks to AMSOIL products over the last few days: engine oil, transmission, front and rear differentials. The news is about my tournament truck. I have a 2011 Ford F250 with the new diesel engine. Before I made the lubricant switch, I filled the truck with diesel and headed to Duluth (Minn.) to get some work done. I was bucking a head wind and got 17.8 miles per gallon, which is pretty normal going against a 30 mph wind. I got the lubricants switched and some other work done on the truck, so it stayed overnight. The next day I came back with my wife’s truck to get her lubricants switched. That day we drove both vehicles back home, and this is where it got interesting. The wind was dead calm and I wanted to see what happened to the gas mileage, so I drove the speed limit and used the speed control on the truck most of the way. I’ve made this trip from Duluth to my house many times where I tried to get the best gas mileage, probably no less than six times when I was watching closely. The best mileage that I ever got on the stretch between Duluth and Ashland (Wis.) was 20.4 mpg, and since the stretch between Ashland and my house is really hilly, the mileage goes down and the best overall performance when I reach my house has been 19.4 mpg. Using the same diesel fill as when I took the truck to Duluth, I got 22.4 mpg from Duluth to Ashland and 21.3 when I got home! That’s almost two miles per gallon better by just switching to the AMSOIL lubricants! I would have never believed that it would have made such a difference, especially since Ford uses synthetics in the new diesels already. All I can say is WOW!"

AMSOIL Diesel Concentrate Cold Flow Improver

AMSOIL Diesel Concentrate Plus Cold Flow Improver is formulated with excellent detergency properties to help keep injectors, rings, piston crowns and the fuel pump lubricated.
AMSOIL Diesel Concentrate Plus Cold Flow Improver (DFC) combines the superior detergency of AMSOIL Diesel Concentrate (ADF) and the excellent anti-gelling properties of AMSOIL Cold Flow Improver (ACF) in one convenient package, without sacrificing performance.
IMPROVES EFFICIENCY
AMSOIL DieselConcentrate Plus Cold Flow Improver is formulated with excellent detergency properties to help keep injectors, rings and piston crowns lubricated and free of soot. Diesel Concentrate Plus Cold Flow Improver cleans dirty injectors, improving fuel economy by up to five percent and restoring horsepower to like new. Acceleration is improved and with regular use, Diesel Concentrate Plus Cold Flow Improver continues to enhance performance by keeping injectors clean. The net savings on fuel expense can result in no additional cost to vehicle operation.
ULTRA-LOW-SULFUR DIESEL FUEL CHALLENGES
The reduced sulfur levels in modern ultra-low-sulfur diesel fuel (ULSD) result in reduced lubricity, the property that controls wear in the fuel injectors and fuel pump. Improving lubricity in ULSD is difficult because it must be done without adding sulfur back into the fuel. Additionally, ULSD is subjected to extensive refining, making it even more difficult to treat. For these reasons, many competitive claims are not based on ULSD fuels, rendering them inaccurate and irrelevant. AMSOIL Diesel Concentrate Plus Cold Flow Improver is formulated specifically for modern ULSD fuel. It improves lubricity, helps maintain engine oil TBN and prevents soot loading.
REDUCES CYLINDER WEAR, RETAINS ENGINE OIL TBN LONGER
With high rates of exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) in modern diesel engines, acids from combustion are of particular concern. AMSOIL Diesel Concentrate Plus Cold Flow Improver neutralizes acids during combustion. It helps reduce acid-caused cylinder wear and helps extend engine oil TBN, maintaining engine oil quality longer for better protection.
MINIMIZES SOOT LOADING
AMSOIL Diesel Concentrate Plus Cold Flow Improver is a powerful cleaner that cleans fuel injectors and piston rings for improved combustion and better sealing. It minimizes soot generated from incomplete combustion and helps keep soot out of the crankcase. Reduced sootloading controls soot-related wear and engine oil viscosity increase.
SUPERIOR COLD-WEATHER PERFORMANCE

As the temperature drops, the wax naturally found in diesel fuel begins to form crystals. The point at which wax crystals form is known as the cloud point. These wax crystals eventually clog the fuel filter and starve the engine of fuel, preventing it from starting. While low quality fuels may form wax crystals in temperatures as warm as 40°F (4°C), most fuels have a cloud point near 32°F (0°C). The point at which the wax crystals clog the fuel filter is known as the cold filter-plugging point (CFPP). AMSOIL Diesel Concentrate Plus Cold Flow Improver lowers the CFPP by as much as 34°F (19°C) in ULSD.
It also reduces the pour-point temperature of treated diesel fuel, providing better fuel delivery to the injectors during cold weather. It is formulated with a jet-fuel-type deicer that disperses water to control ice formation in all sections of the fuel system. Diesel Concentrate Plus Cold FlowImprover minimizes the need for the use of #1 diesel fuel, enabling better fuel economy, performance and lubricity.
POUR POINT VS. CFPP
It is important to distinguish between CFPP and pour point. Many competitors make great claims regarding pour point, leading consumers to believe their products are superior when they actually have an inferior CFPP. Once fuel surpasses its cloud point, the wax crystals begin to clog the fuel filter. The CFPP temperature is a more important characteristic than pour point because the engine will not run if fuel cannot pass through the fuel filter.
REDUCED NEED FOR #1 DIESEL FUEL
One traditional solution to cold weather problems in diesel engines is the use of #1 diesel fuel, which is diesel fuel diluted with kerosene. While #1 diesel fuel has an advantage in low-temperature operability, there are also several disadvantages. The energy content of #1 diesel fuel is about 95 percent of that of #2 diesel fuel, resulting in reduced fuel economy and less horsepower. In addition, the kerosene used in #1 diesel fuel provides less lubrication for the fuel pump and fuel distributor, increasing the likelihood for wear on these critical components. AMSOIL Diesel Concentrate Plus Cold Flow Improver minimizes the need for blending standard #2 diesel fuel with lower-quality #1 diesel fuel, helping to maintain fuel economy and keep engines functioning normally.
RECOMMENDATIONS
One 16-oz. bottle of AMSOIL Diesel Concentrate Plus Cold Flow Improver treats 40 gallons of fuel. Diesel Concentrate Plus Cold Flow Improver will show no signs of solidifying in its concentrated state in the bottle until the temperature reaches -22°F (-30°C). It will only freeze in its concentrated state, and AMSOIL recommends storing it at temperatures above 0°F (-18°C). If Diesel Concentrate Plus Cold Flow Improver is allowed to freeze in the bottle it can be thawed and used. When mixed with diesel fuel, Diesel Concentrate Plus Cold Flow Improver effectively improves diesel fuel cold-temperature properties. It is important to treat fuel before it has reached its cloud point as Diesel Concentrate Plus Cold Flow Improver will not dissolve wax crystals which have already formed in the fuel.
AMSOIL Diesel Concentrate Plus Cold Flow Improver meets federal regulations for ULSD fuel. It complies with federal low-sulfur content requirements for use in diesel motor vehicles and non-road engines. While Diesel Concentrate Plus Cold Flow Improver is formulated specifically for ULSD fuel, it also performs well with non-ULSD fuels, including biodiesel.
AMSOIL Diesel Concentrate Plus Cold Flow Improver is specifically formulated to improve the lubrication of fuel system components, improve fuel flow, help maintain fuel integrity and prevent the fuel filter and injectors from clogging. Diesel Concentrate Plus Cold Flow Improver is recommended for diesel-powered vehicles, home heating oil and kerosene heating systems.

Study Reveals AMSOIL Synthetic Lubricants Increase Fuel Economy 6.54 Percent in Diesel Trucking Applications
To determine the fuel economy benefits of its synthetic lubricants, AMSOIL INC. simultaneously compared fuel consumption in two nearly identical 2001 Kenworth T800B short- to medium-haul diesel trucks in accordance with the SAE J1321 In-Service Fuel Consumption Test Procedure. The procedure’s primary goal is to eliminate all operating and environmental variables that may influence fuel economy - except lubricant selection.
Testing demonstrates use of AMSOIL synthetic lubricants in short- to medium-haul diesel applications can increase fuel economy, and in this case did by 6.54 percent.

New opportunities for the new year.

Hello, As I have reviewed the developments of new products and facilities at Amsoil, I am amazed. Amsoil moved into the new production facility in Superior, WI. They introduced several new products and partnered with Injen for a new line of outstanding intake systems. I was able to tour the new production facility in June during the 35th Anniversary Convention. The technology used in this facility to increase production and efficiency is a testament to the continued "Commitment to Excellence" that Amsoil has prescribed to since its' beginning. Amsoil introduced new racing oils. These are oils that are used on the track, and all of them are available for anyone that wants to use them. One of my dealers used them in his race car this year and had great results. New diesel additives were added to help with keeping diesel flowing during cold weather. In fact the recently added "Diesel Recovery" will make your gelled diesel flow again. Aggrand production has increased also. Amsoil converted the old oil production facility entirely to making and packaging Aggrand Liquid Natural and Organic fertilizers. Two of the products, 4-3-3 Liquid Fertilizer, and the 0-0-8 Liquid Kelp and Sulfate of Potash were approved for use in organic food production and meeting the USDA National Organic Program. Dealers are continuing to see growth in their personal businesses. It seems that as the economy gets tight, more consumers are seeing the value in using a product that extends drain intervals, and provides reduced wear. I have several customers reporting increased fuel mileage and more power once they switched to Amsoil. One of my customers, a North Carolina lawn care company, reported that he could not believe the difference he noticed after just changing the oil. Arron Clark, a dealer in Sedalia, CO, told me how his vehicles and equipment started in sub-zero temperatures when others were shut down.
